Jill Biden Sparkles in Blue Sergio Hudson Dress at White House State Dinner for Kenya With Celebrity Guests [PHOTOS] (2024)

President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden welcomed Kenyan President William Ruto and his wife Rachel Ruto on May 23 at the White House ahead of an official State Dinner. The first lady embraced jewel tones in a sapphire blue dress by Sergio Hudson. The strapless hand-embroidered column gown was embellished with sequins, crystals and bugle beads.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris arrived alongside second gentleman Douglas Emhoff in a bespoke green column dress with a back cape jacket designed by Chloé’s creative director Chemena Kamali.

The event featured a performance by Brad Paisley, and special guests included members of the Biden family, including Natalie and Finnegan Biden, Melissa Cohen Biden, Barack Obama, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Sean Penn, Wilmer Valderrama and more.
