TheSports Medicine Fellowshipprogram is designed to train fellows in the diagnosis and management of medical injuries and illnesses related to athletes at all levels from children to adults – from weekend warriors to pro athletes.

We offer four robust training tracks:

  1. Primary Care Sports Medicine Track – NRMP #1076127F0
  2. Pediatrics Sports Medicine Track – NRMP #1076127F1
  3. Emergency Medicine Sports Medicine Track – NRMP #107612F2
  4. Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Sports Medicine Track - NMRP #1076127F3

The Sports Medicine Fellowship program will provide Colorado, the nation, and the world with leaders of excellence in:

Education - through the provision of sports medicine educational programs to medical students, allied health students, graduate students and house staff, practicing health professionals, and the public at large.

Research - through the development of new knowledge in the basic and clinical sciences, as well as in health policy and health care education.

Patient Care - through state-of-the-art clinical programs which reflect the unique educational environment of the University, as well as the needs of the patients it serves.

Community Service - through sharing the School's expertise and knowledge to enhance the broader community, including our affiliated institutions, other health care professionals, alumni and other colleagues, and citizens of the state.
