CLEMSON —Clemson baseballneeds two wins this weekend to reach its first College World Series since 2010.
TheNo. 6 overall seed Tigers(44-14)will host theFlorida Gators (32-28)in a best-of-three series at Doug Kingsmore Stadium starting Saturday (2 p.m. ET, ESPN). Clemson defeated High Point and Coastal Carolina twice to reach the super regionals for the first time since 2010.
This will be the first time these schools have faced each other since 1983.

Florida's Brandon Neely strikes out the side against Clemson's 8-9-1 hitters. 9-7 Florida into the ninth inning.
Florida 9, Clemson 7, middle 8th: Jacob McGovern keeps Tigers within reach
Jacob McGovern has thrown three scoreless innings to keep Clemson in the game. In the eighth, McGovern walked Cade Kurland and intentionally walked Jac Caglianone before recording consecutive strikeouts to end the Florida 8th.

After a Jarren Purify leadoff walk and an Alden Mathes single (advancing to second base on the throw), Clemson adds two runs on RBI sacrifices. Florida's lead is two through six innings.
Florida 9, Clemson 5, bottom 5th: Tristan Bissetta solo HR
Tristan Bissetta hits a solo home run off the top of one of the buildings in right field. That was 114 mph off the bat.
Florida 9, Clemson 4, middle 5th: Florida breaks open game with 7-run 5th
Lucas Mahlstedt did not retire a batter, allowing two walks and a RBI single. Reed Garris isn't faring too much better, though Florida is playing aggressively. Jarren Purify's poor throw with the infield in allows another Florida run to score, and a safety squeeze trades a Florida out for another run. Michael Robertson, Florida's No. 9 hitter who walked to start the inning, also drove in a run on a RBI single to give Florida a 9-4 lead.

Florida 5, Clemson 4, top 5th: Jac Caglianone 3-run home run
After a walk and a single, Jac Caglianone hits a 3-run home run to chase Tristan Smith out of the game and give Florida the lead.
Erik Bakich said Clemson would pitch to Caglianone, and that comes back to bite the Tigers.
Clemson 4, Florida 2, mid 4th: Tyler Shelnut solo HR
Florida's Tyler Shelnut hits a home run to left center, just over the leaping Cam Cannarella's glove. Cannarella did catch Brody Donay's flyball at the top of the wall in center for the final out of the Florida 4th.
Clemson 4, Florida 1, end 3rd: Jimmy Obertop goes over the left field stands
Jimmy Obertop launches a solo home run to left field over the stands to extend Clemson's lead to 4-1.
Clemson 3, Florida 1, middle 3rd: Gators on the board with a sacrifice fly
Cade Kurland walks, and Jac Caglianone hits a sharp line drive to right field for a long single.. Kurland eventually scores on a RBI sacrifice fly by Ashton Wilson.
Clemson 3, Florida 0, end 2nd: Jarren Purify continues the hot bat
Jarren Purify ends up at third base with a leadoff triple on a tailing pop-up that fell in front of two Florida players. Purify then scores on a wild pitch.
Florida starting pitcher Liam Peterson is done after 1+ innings. He really struggled with command. Fisher Jameson comes on and strands a Clemson runner at third base.
Clemson 2, Florida 0, end 1st: Tigers open with two runs in the first
Clemson loads the bases with a single and two walks, and Alden Mathes scores from third base on a wild pitch. Two walks later, Blake Wright scores on a RBI BB by Jack Crighton.
Tigers leave the bases loaded but score twice in the first inning.

Tristan Smith worked around a two-out walk in a scoreless Florida 1st. Florida star Jac Caglianone popped out in his first at-bat against the Clemson starter.
